Serving at RPC
Well, we need YOU. We are the Body of Christ ... and we must all use our gifts to serve! We need teachers for our kids (do y'all know that we have LOTS of kids from babies to 5th grade!?)! We need greeters. We need help in the office each week. We need small group hosts and leaders. We need all of us to serve and participate in THIS body LIFE. Contact Pastor Tom if you want to plug in. Pine Ridge School Adoption
Our church will be joining the CMA church to serve, love, and ADOPT the Pine Ridge students and faculty in Magalia. The mission of Adopt-A-School program is to partner with teachers and students to develop their skills and to create productive, healthy, and contributing community citizens.
Here are just some of the ways YOU can help:
be a classroom helper, start a special interest club, help with field trips, and (very importantly!) pray for Pine Ridge School!
Jacky Hoiland is heading up this ministry along with Josh Lee, so please let her or Josh (872-8270) know if you're interested.
The Jesus Center
We began serving on Sundays in February 2008. We are partnered with The Jesus Center to help serve a Sunday morning breakfast and a short time of worship. Loaves and Fishes - St. Nick's Church
Help make a difference in your community! Join Ridge PC in helping to provide a free hot meal to the Paradise community every 2nd Thursday of the month from 4-6pm at St. Nick's Church (located on Oliver and Skyway). Servers, cooks, shoppers, general helpers, and greeters are all needed. Contact Alisha Fickert at 624-2111 or alishafickert@sbcglobal.net to volunteer.

Operation Christmas Child
Use a shoe box to show the love of Jesus all over the world! Operation Christmas Child gifts are collected by churches each November, and in 2009 we collected approximately 160 boxes! Our church contact for this ministry is Brett Lumbley, and she can be reached at 877-4974.
Mexico 2010!!!
July 24th-31st
Ridge PC Family Mexico Trip: Our team of 11 built a home for a needy family in summer of 2008 for Paulino and Petra Lopez and their four children. This next year's trip in late July will be just as rewarding for a family in need. And it's not too late to be a part of it!
Cost is $400 per person or $1200 for a family of five. Additionally, $4500 needs to be raised to cover the costs of building materials, travel costs, and insurance, so please feel free to donate! Please contact Scott Lemm for more information at 877-8078 or email him at scott_lemm@sbcglobal.net.

Missionaries We Support Around the Globe . . .
During November and December 2009, Ridge PC sent encouraging notes and gifts to missionaries/ministries that we support around the globe: Mike and Erin Pettengill in Honduras, Tim and Evie Conkling in China, Yugo Ministries in Mexico, and Younglife of Paradise (led by Dan & Jacky Legg). Please remember to pray for our missionaries! Missions Sunday at RPC is always the 3rd Sunday in February.
